Well that was the most painful thing ever.
Fucking fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck no. (also, I’m pretty sure there’s a deleted scene where Steve goes to visit Peggy, and she’s obviously very old, but totally alive. Guess we’ll have to wait for the mega-awesome-tessaract-full-o-dvd’s to come out before we can know for sure though).

It’s a bit weird. Other RM concept art of Cap looks different, some look like Chris Evans (those are probably the later ones) while other look different, but still with Cap with a body-type similar to Chris. The guy above is bit more stocky, or maybe its just the wider face.
Combined with the untucked shirt evoking a sloppy image, it kind of makes me think that’s a guy they got to pose as Cap after Cap went MIA.But that’s not what I wanted to talk about. Get a load of the A on his helmet. A lot smaller than usual, composed of two thick vertical bars and two small ones connecting them.
In other words, it is the insignia of US Army Captain -and Steve is explicitly and repeatedly stated to be a Captain- only with the small horizontal bars are higher to make it look more like an A, worn right where an officer would wear it in he field.
Kind of wish that detail was used in the movie, though.
‘The Incredible Hulk’ alternative opening finds Bruce Banner attempting to commit suicide on the top of a glacier, however he turns into the Hulk before he can do it, smashing the glacier.
